Thanks to close collaboration between Royal IHC, Royal Boskalis Westminster, Damen Shipyards Group, Royal Van Oord, ETIM International, Ketenstandaard Bouw en Techniek, 2BA and trade association NMT (Netherlands Maritime Technology), an increasing number of suppliers and material processors from the maritime manufacturing industry are finding their way to 2BA, where they can publish and obtain up-to-date product and pricing information.

Read on to find out how the joint OMDS (One Maritime Data Standard) initiative has not gone unnoticed within the maritime sector. That shouldn’t come as a surprise: after all, OMDS’s mission is to reduce failure and supply chain management costs and increase efficiency within the maritime manufacturing sector. This is an absolute necessity, especially in the light of international competition with subsidized shipbuilding in low-wage countries such as China and South Korea. For this purpose, the 2BA database has been made fully ‘maritime compliant’.
May we count on your support for our nomination and – indirectly – for the success of OMDS/2BA within the Dutch maritime sector? Please cast your vote up till May 28 on: https://www.maritimeplatform.nl/mip2022/innovatiepitchpodium/ (candidate 7)
On behalf of all aforementioned parties: thank you very much for your vote!
