Request on behalf of installers: CO₂ data needed for CSRD reporting

Together with the installers who process and install your products, we are working towards a transparent and sustainable supply chain. To support the mandatory CSRD reporting, 2BA now also collects and distributes CO₂ data for the products they purchase from you or through wholesalers. This data forms an important basis for a complete and reliable emissions calculation.

What data does this involve?

We will initially focus on product-level data GWPTotal (kg CO₂-eq) from an EPD or LCA in phases A1-A3 Cradle to gate (cumulative) and, if applicable, B6 Operational Energy Consumption and B7 Operational Water Consumption. We strongly urge you to add this data to your product data on 2BA so that your clients have access to it and can comply with their legal, EU-mandated reporting obligations. Tip: start with best-sellers; high volume or frequently applied.

How to make your data available

It is currently not possible to publish this data via the standard exchange formats. An alternative route is available to make the data available. Your regular 2BA contact person will assist you with this; call today or submit a feedback ticket.

If product-specific CO₂ data is not yet available, we request that you provide at least the following organizational information:

Total annual turnover (most recent financial year)
Total CO₂ footprint (scope 1 and 2, and if available, scope 3)

With this data, installers can calculate the CO₂ intensity per euro. This allows them to prepare their own sustainability reports correctly and completely.
