CBS Commodity code list updated to 2022; possible consequences for your data

As you may know, an important change will come into effect on 1 January 2022 for the EU commodity codes within the Harmonized System (HS). This has consequences for a large number of goods. 

The commodity code list has now also been updated within 2BA to 2022. As a result, any expired (2021) commodity codes are blocked by our import routine, resulting in data loss. 

We advise you to update any expired commodity codes in advance so that your data customers do not have to experience data loss. Click here for an overview of the expired 2021 commodity codes. An up-to-date overview can be found on the CBS website and within the 2BA model (dutch).
